Injury concerns mount for Shire

Michael Bolochoweckyj and Kevin Turner are both sidelined with ankle injuries as East Stirling entertain Berwick at Ochilview.

Nathan Shepherd, last weekend's matchwinner against Annan, is struggling with a knock to add to head coach John Coughlin's concerns.

Coughlin said: "We have not done well against Berwick in the past couple of seasons and it would be good to change that. We put in a good attacking performance and scored three good goals at Annan and it would be great to do the same against Berwick.

"Berwick will be disappointed that their bright start under Colin Cameron ended last week so we have to guard against them taking that out on us."

Berwick player/manager Cameron will miss out due to a hamstring injury while Stephen Tulloch (hamstring), Dougie Brydon (pelvis) and Ross Gray (knee) are all absent as well.

Recent signing Andy Russell is included for the first time and Ross Drummond has been brought in on loan from Dunfermline.

Cameron said: "We lost last weekend because we never passed the ball about well enough. I am sure that we will be better at Ochilview and we will need to if we are to win.

"East Stirling are looking to make it three wins in a row so we have to be ready."
