Tully sees the light as lowly East Stirling bid to topple Arbroath

East Stirling will be without Chris Townsley and Ross Gilmour as they look to move off bottom spot with victory over visitors Arbroath.

Townsley sustained an ankle injury in last week's 2-1 defeat at Montrose and Gilmour is still troubled by a foot problem.

Head coach Craig Tully said: "We lost goals in the first half (last week) in the aftermath of Chris going off injured, but we dominated the second.

"The performance was a huge improvement on the one against Queen's Park the week before so we are definitely heading in the right direction. Arbroath will be tough, but we can win."

Arbroath will be at full strength with manager Todd Lumsden determined his side continues to develop on a game-by-game basis despite winning their last two matches.

Lumsden said: "Some people have been saying that we have started a run up the table, but we have taken the approach of only looking at one game at a time.

"We are not looking at positions at the moment as it is far too early in the season as all we are wanting is improvement in our play on the pitch.

"We will need that improvement against an East Stirling side that have already beaten good teams at home this season."
