Shire set for Donnelly farewell

East Stirling include on-loan Celtic youngster Luke Donnelly for the last time under his current deal for the visit of Albion Rovers.

The Shire are without the injured Nathan Shepherd (knee), Paul McMullan (foot) and Max Wright (hamstring) as they look to repeat their 2-1 success over the Coatbridge side from earlier in the season.

Head coach Craig Tully said: "A repeat of that win would be a terrific afternoon's work. We are a side that are playing well but we need to cut out some of the silly mistakes that we make. If we do that then we can pick up wins and start climbing the table."

Promotion seeking Rovers will be without player-manager Darren Young due to a groin injury, and Kyle Turnbull who is struggling with an ankle problem.

Speaking of their defeat to Saturday's opponents earlier in the season, Young said: "That was a bit of a crazy afternoon as we had a sending off and then scored a crazy own goal. It would be good to win this one and put it right.

"To win we need to create more chances than we did against Montrose last week. The game ended goalless as we just never got going in the final third of the pitch, which is not like us."
