Duo missing for East Stirling

East Stirling will be without Nathan Shepherd (knee) and skipper Kevin Turner (ankle) as they host an Albion side who have beaten them twice already this season.

Ross O'Donoghue and Paul Quinn should be available after missing the 1-0 win over leaders Peterhead last weekend.

Head coach John Coughlin said: "That was a great win for us but we face a really tough test in terms of building on it. Albion Rovers have given us problems in our two earlier games so it would be nice to change that.

"They have a lot of firepower that we need to control."

Albion will give Mick Dunlop a fitness test ahead of kick-off, with the Coatbridge side hoping the defender does not join Peter Innes (leg) and Pat Walker (ankle) on the sidelines.

Manager James Ward has not been able to bring Mark McGuigan back to the club from Partick and is wary of facing Coughlin's side.

Ward said: "We have won well against East Stirling but they have changed their shape recently and look very strong again.

"We have the incentive of keeping ahead of them in the chase for a play-off place and hopefully that will be enough to get us the three points."
