Shire take derby spoils after beating Stirling at Ochilview

East Stirling got back to winning ways with a thrilling 3-2 win over Stirling at Ochilview Park.

The Shire, who had their Boxing Day fixture postponed, got off to a flying start through David McKenna who slotted home his fourth goal of the season after two minutes.

Thomas Orr doubled their lead on his debut in the first half but Stirling, who have now lost their second straight game after a three-match wining streak, responded four minutes after break as Kevin McKinlay headed in Steven Doris' cross.

McKenna's header put Craig Tully's men 3-1 up but Craig Beattie's goal gave the Binos hope with 13 minutes remaining but the hosts held on to move within a point off the relegation spot.
