East Stirling off bottom with win
East Stirling were lifted off the foot of the League Two table after recording a 3-1 win at home to Montrose.
The Shire continued their recent revival with a third win in five games as goals from Jordan Cairnie, Andy Kay and David McKenna secured a comfortable victory.
Cairnie opened the scoring for the home side after Ross Salmon failed to claim a cross, leaving the defender with a clear header after 11 minutes.
The lead was doubled in the first minute after the break, with Kay finding the bottom corner following Ross Gilmour's pass.
Kris Faulds found McKenna with a superb pass shortly before the hour mark, and the striker notched his fourth league goal of the season, before Gary Fraser added a late consolation.
