East Stirling slipped out of the play-off places as they twice surrendered a lead to draw 2-2 with 10-man Montrose at Ochilview Park.

Callum Gallagher scored his first goal of the season to fire the hosts into a seventh minute lead, heading Maxwell Wright's cross beyond Stuart MacKenzie.

Gary Wood levelled for Stuart Garden's team with his third of the season after 26 minutes, turning in Alan Campbell's cross.

Iain Thomson restored The Shire's one-goal lead shortly after the break, lashing home from close range, but once again Montrose hit-back when Graham Webster curled a good effort past Grant Hay to claim a point for the visitors.

The Gable Endies were reduced to 10 men with 15 minutes left to play when defender Terry Masson was sent off for a foul on Wright but, despite that, the visitors held on for their first point in three games.
