East Stirling suffer another loss

Bottom of the table East Stirling crashed to their fifth straight defeat, losing 3-1 at home to Stranraer.

Stranraer took the lead in the 12th minute when Steven Noble fired into the bottom left corner from 25 yards.

The hosts equalised six minutes later when Andrew Stirling's looping effort from outside the box found the top corner.

Just after the break East Stirling's Kevin Turner headed Stuart McColm's cross against his own crossbar.

It was McColm who put Stranraer back in front in the 70th minute, picking the ball up on the left-hand side and firing into the far corner long range.

Two minutes later it got worse for East Stirling when goalscorer Stirling was dismissed for a second bookable offence after fouling substitute Michael Moore.

And Moore sealed the victory in the final minute, slotting home from 12 yards.
