More misery for East Stirling

East Stirling remain rooted to the foot of the Scottish Third Division following a 3-1 home defeat against Queens Park.

The hosts had a good opportunity to take the lead when Queens Park defender Richard Little was sent off on 39 minutes after having brought down Alistair Love in the area, but Steven Jackson saw his placed penalty well saved by Queens Park goalkeeper Neil Parry.

The away side took the lead nine minutes after half-time thanks to Ian Watt's right-footed strike before David Murray doubled his side's lead with a close-range finish after East Stirling had failed to clear Martin McBride's free kick.

McBride then made it three with a right-footed finish from the edge of the area after a neat set-up from Murray three minutes later, before Love recorded a late consolation goal with an impressive strike one minute from time.
