East Stirling striker Simon Lynch converted the only goal in a win over Queens Park.The former Celtic forward fired home from close range after latching onto Paul Weaver's ball in a congested penalty box in the 64th minute. Shire's keeper Jamie Barclay pulled off a fine save to deny Martin McBride from the penalty spot in the 41st minute. They had another let-off moments later when Michael Daly rattled a shot off the crossbar.
