Arbroath cruise to win over East Stirling

Bobby Linn's 10th goal of the season helped leave East Stirling marooned to the bottom of the Ladbrokes Scottish League Two table after they went down 3-0 at home to Arbroath.

Goals from Josh Skelly, Sergio Cecilia and Linn ensured a comfortable victory for the visitors, who secured their fifth win in six league games to move sixth in the table.

Arbroath were immediately on the front foot, and took the lead in the 12th minute when Greg Rutherford broke free and found Skelly inside the area and he slotted the ball in for his first goal in club colours.

Darren Ramsay went close a couple of times before the break and Rutherford should have doubled the lead, but substitute Cecilia found the corner just after the hour mark to open a two-goal lead.

Linn latched onto a Ramsay through-ball four minutes later as Arbroath coasted to victory.
