East Stirling 0-2 Elgin: Match Report

14 November 2010 00:11
A late goal from Craig Frizzel put the seal on a confident 2-0 away win for Elgin City at East Stirlingshire. Frizzel scored nine minutes from time to settle the issue as he produced a low finish from Paul Millar's headed knockdown to seal the points for the visitors. Elgin looked the better side for long spells, and they surged into the lead in the 34th minute when Jake Inglis scored from inside the area with a fine left-footed finish into the corner. Frizzel's late strike ensured there was no way back, although Kevin Cawley fired close from distance in the second half, as City completed the league double over their hosts.
