Campbell earns Alloa point

Substitute Craig Campbell's header seven minutes from time salvaged a point for Alloa as they drew 1-1 with East Stirling.

The striker scored his first goal of the season, cancelling out Michael Hunter's opener to extend Alloa's unbeaten run to four games.

The visitors, who have not won in the league since the opening day, nearly fell behind in the first half when goalkeeper Calum Antell had to push Kevin Cawley's effort over his crossbar.

But East Stirling took the lead in the 65th minute when Hunter headed in Scott Maxwell's cross from close range.

Alloa goalkeeper Scott Bain was twice called into action before Campbell came off the bench to earn them a point, rising highest to nod home Ross McCord's free-kick.
