Davieson strike enough for Stirling Scott Davieson scored the only goal of the game as Stirling claimed a 1-0 victory over East Fife. The Fifers had the better chances in the first half but took 30 minutes to hit the target. Ryan Wallace chanced his arm from 25 yards but Sam Filler parried his effort to safety. The Stirling shot-stopper was called into action again early in the second half as he turned away Robert Ogleby's scrambled effort after a dangerous corner. With 15 minutes to play, Davieson capitalised on East Fife's inability to turn their dominance into goals by netting the eventual winner. Gary Thom rose well to nod down Alan Cook's header and Davieson was handed the simple task of tapping in from six yards. The visitors failed to trouble Filler in the closing minutes as Stirling held on for all three points.
