Former Hearts manager John Robertson has been confirmed as the new East Fife boss.

Robertson replaces Stevie Crawford after his fellow former Scotland striker quit with the club third bottom of the Irn-Bru Second Division.

The job sees Robertson return to management three years after leaving his post at Derry City. Scott Crabbe, Robertson's former Hearts team-mate, remains at the club as coach but Jason Dair and David Westwood have left the backroom staff.
