Ross Brown back for East Fife against Stirling

East Fife welcome back Ross Brown from injury as they host play-off chasing Stirling Albion.

Brown's return gives Bayview player-manager Gary Naysmith a full squad to choose from.

The former Scotland defender said: "Stirling are one of the most attack-minded sides in the league and we have to guard against that. We did well to defeat Arbroath last weekend, however we were not clinical enough in front of goal.

"A win would move us nine points clear of Stirling but I am sure that they are saying a win gets it back to three and we look catchable."

Craig Beattie is expected to return for the Forthbank side after illness but Kevin McKinlay remains out injured.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We have taken seven points from the last nine available and are starting to build some momentum. Winning this game embeds us a bit further in the play-off chase as well as giving us more belief.

"We have faced East Fife five times so far this season and every game has been really tight with a win each and a couple of draws. Both management teams will need to dig really deep to surprise the other one and hopefully it will be ours that does it."
