Fit again Gary Naysmith ready to lead East Fife charge
East Fife player-manager Gary Naysmith has shaken off a knock and includes himself in the pool to face Montrose.
The table-toppers are also able to call on Stevie Campbell and Ross Brown after injury, with Naysmith saying: "Winning this game will be difficult as over the last 12 months Montrose have proven to be the most improved side in our league.
"Last season we defeated them four times and never conceded a goal, however we have only won once against them in this campaign.
"They also need a win to be mathematically safe so we need to play well to get the win and keep a four point lead at the top."
Montrose striker Chris Templeman is a major doubt with an ankle injury and he could join the long-term injury absentee Paul Watson (groin) and Ross McCord (knee) on the sidelines.
Manager Paul Hegarty said: "Gary has done a great job at East Fife and has them flying high just now.
"They are deservedly top of the table but we are not going there to admire them. We are going there to win the points we need to reach the objectives we set at the start of the season.
"We showed a lot of spirit at Clyde last week to earn a point and we will need that spirit again."
