Naysmith out for Fifers
East Fife player-manager Gary Naysmith could miss out against Montrose at Bayview due to a rib injury.
The Fifers definitely missing the injured Alan Cook (ankle) and Cyrus Moosavi (knee).
Naysmith watched the Gable Endies in action on Tuesday night and was impressed.
He said: "Montrose defeated Berwick 2-1 and they deserved it. Their front players were very effective indeed and I am expecting them to go with a similar approach in this game.
"We are a solid if not spectacular run just now which is building confidence but it would be good to start turning draws into wins starting in this game."
Montrose include Leszek Nowosielski for the first time after international clearance came through from Poland.
The midfielder is joined by the fit-again Alan Campbell and Danny Cavanagh knocks, but Stephen Robb, Adam Horwood and Stephen Day look set to miss out through injury.
Manager George Shields is looking for his men to build on their 2-1 win over Berwick Rangers in midweek.
He said: "I wanted a positive reaction after a disappointing display against East Stirling and I got one.
"It was a good win and the same approach against East Fife would be terrific as they will not want us to climb over them in the table."
