Brown feeling blue but loan star Insall poised for East Fife debut

East Fife forward Kevin Smith is an injury doubt for the visit of East Stirling and Ross Brown definitely out due to a groin problem.

Allan Walker is unavailable with player/manager Gary Naysmith set to give a starting debut to on-loan Hibs striker Jamie Insall.

Naysmith said: "The Shire beat us in the first game of the season by soaking up a lot of pressure and then hitting us on the break.

"They were successful against Queen's Park like that last weekend so we know what we are going to have to breakdown to win the game.

"Jamie may just be the key to unlocking things in their box."

Bottom side East Stirling will be without Billy Vidler, who has a knee injury, as they look to build on last weekend's 2-1 success over Queen's Park.

Head coach Craig Tully said: "It was a very good win and we played very well in it especially in the first half.

"We lost our way slightly when they equalised with 10 minutes to go and looked for a winner, however we got ourselves together and sneaked a winner.

"If we can perform like that at East Fife we have a good chance of getting another win over them, but it will be a very tight game. "
