Mullen back for East Fife

East Fife expect to have Fraser Mullen back in their ranks after injury against Arbroath, while Nathan Austin is available after a ban.

Liam Smith is an injury doubt and he could join Julen Etxabeguren (ankle) and Kevin Smith (knee) in missing out.

Player-manager Gary Naysmith is looking for a return to form as he explained: "We were poor against a good East Stirling side last weekend and paid the price.

"We have had a good chat about it and hopefully the players can shrug it off and show what they can do against an Arbroath side who were unlucky to lose to Albion Rovers in midweek."

Arbroath will be low on numbers as they look to boost their flagging title hopes, with Dylan Carreiro ruled out through illness,

Liam Gordon is absent with a hamstring problem and ankle injuries keep Adam Hunter and Jonny Lindsay out of action.

Manager Allan Moore said: "After losing to Albion Rovers on Wednesday things are out of our hands. However we have to simply keep going and look to string a run of wins together and see where that takes us.

"We are still a side that have been missing too many chances but hopefully we can put that right against an East Fife side still gunning for the play-offs."
