Sloan at the double in win Robert Sloan's second-half brace helped East Fife to a convincing 4-1 win over Alloa. Robert Linn opened the scoring for East Fife after 15 minutes with a brilliant 30-yard curling shot, before Scott Walker drew Alloa level five minutes after half-time when he converted Darren Smith's inswinging corner from close range. Steve Hislop restored East Fife's lead in the 55th minute as he tapped in Linn's cross, before Sloan's double took the game away from Alloa. He scored his first from the penalty spot on the hour mark after Willie Gibson fouled Craig Johnstone in the area and netted his second eight minutes from time with a 20-yard shot to send East Fife up to seventh in the table.
