Linn's double seals crucial win for East Fife East Fife eased their relegation fears with a comfortable 3-1 win over Division Two's bottom club Peterhead. Peterhead have now lost six successive league games and are five points off safety despite playing two games more than their relegation rivals Fife and Stenhousemuir. The Fifers started brightly and deservedly took the lead in the 22nd minute when Steven Hislop fired Robert Linn's cross into the bottom corner from 12 yards out. Linn doubled his side's advantage in the 32nd minute with a fierce long-range effort before wrapping up the points in the 54th minute with a fine strike from 20 yards. Blue Toon striker Martin Bavidge netted a 73rd-minute consolation from long range.
