Airdrie on the up Airdrie moved to within five points of the top four after Scott Gemmill's first-half goal sealed a 1-0 win over East Fife at the Bayview Stadium. Gemmill struck five minutes before half-time with a close-range header from Jamie Stevenson's cross to seal all three points for Jimmy Boyle's men.
