Wilson keen to sign new Pars deal

Thursday Sep 29 2005 10:05

Dunfermline defender Scott Wilson has said that he is willing to take a pay cut in order to stay with the Pars.

Wilson has already been in talks with boss Jimmy Calderwood about a new contract, but the former Rangers star has said he is keen to stay at East End Park.

''There have been talks, but there's been nothing concrete," the 26-year-old told the Daily Record.

"I want to stay. I'm settled and don't want to move now.

"My girlfriend is pregnant and the baby is due in July, so I don't want to be going down to England now.

"I did that before I came here and it was quite bad because I didn't know what was going to happen. Hopefully I won't have to do that again."
