Midfielder Stephen Simmons hopes to return to Dunfermline Athletic's starting line-up against Kilmarnock on Saturday after recovering from a head injury.
The 24-year-old suffered a bad cut and concussion in a clash of heads with Dundee United's Alan Archibald three weeks ago, but is back in training and ready to rejoin the Pars' battle to climb away from the foot of the table.
"The stitches I needed weren't a problem," Simmons told The Courier.
"The problem was that every time I tried to do anything I got a headache and until the sore heads went away, I just had to take it easy.
"I got back into training last Thursday and am fine now but all round it was a bit of a scary experience."
