Shields to stay with Pars

Defender Greg Shields says he is happy to stay at Dunfermline Athletic, having been linked with a switch to Aberdeen.
The 30-year-old stopper is currently in his second spell with the Pars, but had been expected to head north in a swap deal with Stevie Crawford.
However, with that deal now on ice, Shields is content to remain at East End Park.
He told The Courier: "I have never asked to leave Dunfermline and don't want to.
"I have a good relationship with the Pars management and Dunfermline have made it clear they don't want to lose me, so I'll be interested in what they have to say about a new deal.
"I'm quite surprised I haven't been offered one up till now, but the club have now indicated they are going to be talking to myself and one or two others and I'll be happy to enter into discussions."
