More surgery for Thomson

Dunfermline captain Scott Thomson could be sidelined for another month after suffering a setback in his recovery from a troublesome Achilles injury.
The veteran defender has not played this season after having an ankle operation in the summer but now looks set to have more surgery.
"I had the ankle stripped and repaired, but when the specialist went in it was a lot worse than he thought it was going to be," Thomson told The Courier.
"There's definitely something not right. I don't think it has healed properly and maybe there's still a bit of rubbish in there.
"I've already had the scan and I'm going back to see the specialist. It looks like I'm back to square one, but hopefully it will just be a scope this time and he'll be able to clean it up.
"With a bit of luck it'll only take three or four weeks after that."
