Dunfermline Athletic's matchwinner Jim McIntyre vowed not to repeat his penalty heroics after sending the Pars through to the Scottish Cup final at the expense of Hibernian.
McIntyre, whose career was almost ended by a neck injury earlier this season, kept his cool to convert from the spot two minutes from time in the semi-final replay, lifting the ball down the middle as Hibs keeper Andrew McNeil dived to his right.
"When you take a pen you have to decide early on what you are going to do," McIntyre told The Courier. "And I decided last week that if we got one that's what I'd do.
"That's five times I've dinked the ball in from the spot and that's it.
"I did it three times for Dundee United and once before for Airdrie in the quarter-finals against Partick Thistle, but no more. I've rode my luck as far as I can.
"If I'd missed I'd have looked the biggest mug ever if I didn't connect properly."
