Dunfermline manager Stephen Kenny has vowed to stay at East End Park even if the Pars are relegated from the SPL this season.
The Pars are six points away from safety following a 2-0 defeat to Motherwell and have only six games of the season left to lift themselves off the foot of the table.
However, former Derry City boss Kenny told the Daily Record: "Hopefully we will not be going down - we still have a great chance of staying up.
"We will battle until the end and I won't think about failure. But I've signed a contract for two-and-a-half seasons.
"I'm very committed to managing Dunfermline regardless of the outcome. I want to make Dunfermline one of the best clubs in the country, that's why I'm here.
"The players represent the club in the best way they can and the supporters feel that Dunfermline can be a big club in the SPL."
