Burchill boost for Pars

Dunfermline look to have secured the services of Mark Burchill for a further 12 months after the striker agreed a contract extension in principle to remain at East End Park.
The much-travelled former Celtic, Portsmouth and Hearts hitman signed for the Pars on a free transfer in 2005 and scored 14 times last season.
The 26-year-old's appearances have been restricted by injury this term but, having recovered from hernia and knee surgery, Burchill could figure against Hibs on Monday evening.
Meanwhile, Pars boss Jim Leishman has urged his side to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat at Motherwell in their last outing.
"We want to make up for the first half against Motherwell so we've a lot to play for as well," he said.
