Dunfermline defender Souleymane Bamba has revealed Saturday's Scottish Cup final could be his last match for the Pars.
The 22-year-old former Paris St Germain player claims he is happy at East End Park but fears the club's relegation from the SPL will have disastrous consequences on his burgeoning international career with Ivory Coast.
"I had a talk last Thursday with the manager and I told him that I didn't know what to do," he told the Daily Record.
"I'm captain of the Ivory Coast second team and I should leave for the sake of my progress.
"But I'm happy here. Life is good and my family like it here.
"We're going to the first division but at the same time we're going to be playing in the UEFA Cup.
"I'm thinking about it but the best solution would definitely be to leave."
