Pars and Morton ready for battle First Division leaders Dunfermline expect to have Steven Jordan and Alex Whittle available for the visit of third-placed Morton. The duo recovered from knocks picked up in training earlier this week and returned to training on Friday. Chris Kane will be the only absentee, with the midfielder still not fully over an ankle injury. The Pars are expecting a tough contest from a Greenock side who also have designs on promotion. Assistant manager Gerry McCabe said "They are the only First Division side we have not played but from what we have heard they are a powerful side. They have a lot of experience and three players who won the league with us a couple of years ago so we need to play well to win." Morton's squad is in its best health so far this season as they travel to the league leaders. Mark McLaughlin looks set to shake off a groin injury while Scott Taggart's broken foot has healed, leaving only striker Peter MacDonald on the sidelines with his foot problem. Defender Thomas O'Ware has been added to the squad after impressive reserve-team appearances. With the Greenock side on the back of a five-game winning run manager Allan Moore is telling his men to go out and attack Dunfermline. Moore said: "There is a very positive mood within our camp so we will go to East End Park and play our normal game. We have experience in our ranks and we are scoring goals so we are looking forward to it."
