One in one out for Dunfermline

Dunfermline have added Farid El Alagui to their squad ahead of the visit of Dundee United, but Jason Talbot misses out through suspension.

Goalkeeper Sean Murdoch is not yet ready to return after a wrist injury with David Hopkirk set for a fitness test.

Pars boss Allan Johnston said: "We played each other in a Betfred Cup tie earlier in the season but that is not much of a guide as both squads have changed a bit since then.

"In our last two Championship games we have just been on the wrong side of the result however with the additions we have made we are better placed to be on the right side."

Dundee United manager Ray McKinnon has a full strength squad to pick from as the Tannadice men look to pick up their first away win of the season.

The United boss has a happy problem to solve as he explained: "I made seven changes to my line-up last weekend and we played some really nice football in our win over Peterhead.

"That shows that we have strength in depth which is very pleasing in a league as tough as this one.

"Dunfermline lost their last home and that will make them very difficult opponents as they will not want to lose two in a row."
