Bairns heap more misery on Pars
Lyle Taylor and Blair Alston made a bad day even worse for Dunfermline as they found the net in Falkirk's 2-0 win at East End Park.
With the club and its staff facing an uncertain future, the Pars went into this match looking for a timely morale boost, but their visitors were in no mood for charity.
The Bairns looked the more dangerous of the two teams in the early stages, Alston forcing Paul Gallacher into a save from 20 yards in the sixth minute.
That pressure told in the 10th minute, as Taylor got on the end of a Thomas Grant free-kick to head the ball into the bottom-left corner of the net.
And Alston sealed the three points for the visitors two minutes from time when he drilled in a low right-footed effort from the edge of the penalty area.
