No goals at East End Park as Dunfermline and Raith scrap out draw
There was little for the fans to get excited about in a drab 0-0 draw between Dunfermline and Raith at East End Park.
The hosts made more of the play and carried a greater threat on goal, but producing a clear-cut chance proved elusive.
In the first half, Farid El Alagui fed Nicky Clark, but the striker placed wide of goal.
Joe Cardle appeared to have unlocked Rovers' stubborn defence, but El Alagui was denied by Kevin Cuthbert, who advanced to block out the angles.
The Pars missed two late opportunities. Kallum Higginbotham's shot was stopped by Jean Yves Mvoto, and Cardle was thwarted by Cuthbert.
