Zaluska ready for Bhoys move

Dundee United goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska has admitted that he used the Tangerines as a stepping stone to gain a move to a bigger club.

The 26-year-old Pole has signed a pre-contract agreement to join the Bhoys in the summer, having impressed during just over a year at Tannadice.

He told the Daily Mail: "It was my plan to get this move when I came to Scotland.

"I have treated Dundee United as a good place to adapt myself to the new football reality and then promote myself to a club like Celtic.

"I used it as a trampoline, there was no other way.

"Players who don't compete in European Cups and don't play for the national team have practically zero chance of going to a big club directly from Poland."
