Dundee United will complete the signing of Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska when the transfer window reopens next month.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper has agreed terms with the Terrors and will move from current club Korona Kielce in June.
"We've agreed a deal with his club, but we are still drawing up the papers and, while we've also reached terms with the boy, his contract can't take effect until the transfer window opens again," admitted United boss Craig Levein.
"We've made good progress and I'm confident everything will be tied up, but you can never say for certain with any deals."
Meanwhile, Levein is reportedly interested in signing former Manchester City midfielder Willo Flood following his recent release from Cardiff City.
