Terrors tie up Severin signing

Former Aberdeen and Hearts midfielder Scott Severin has joined Dundee United on an initial deal running until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has left Watford after just one season in England, having ended the last campaign on loan at Kilmarnock.

Severin told The Courier: "I'd spoken to the manager a few times over the summer, so it's been on and off for a while.

"He asked if there was an opportunity to come on loan, but I wanted to give it another crack at Watford.

"It didn't work out there, so the opportunity came up again and I was delighted to join. I'm happy to be back in the SPL."
