Terrors tie up Flood deal
13 Jun 2007 - 10:20:10
Dundee United manager Craig Levein is confident Willo Flood will adapt well to life in Scotland after sealing a one-year loan deal for the Cardiff City star.
The 22-year-old moved to the Bluebirds from Manchester City last summer but struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Ninian Park, starting only eight games for Dave Jones' side.
Levein told United's official website: "I'm confident he'll do well for Dundee United. His style of play suits the SPL and will make him a firm favourite with our supporters.
"I was aware that a number of other clubs were interested in taking him and am pleased that Cardiff City see this move as an opportunity for the player to improve his game.
"Most of all however, I'm delighted because I see him as an important player for us next season."
