Dundee United have agreed a deal to sign French midfielder Morgaro Gomis from Cowdenbeath. The Terrors will swoop for the highly-rated 21-year-old when the transfer window opens in January. United boss Craig Levein told the Daily Record: "He's not ready to be a first-team player yet but there are one or two wee things I saw in his game that makes me think he has got a chance." Gomis arrived at Cowdenbeath in the summer from non-league football south of the border and has been a virtual ever-present for the Blue Brazil this season. Cowdenbeath chairman Gordon McDougall added: "This represents a good piece of business for Cowdenbeath but also a fantastic opportunity for Morgaro. "He joined us for free in the summer and could have walked away at the end of the season. "He has great ability and if anybody can take him to the next level it is Craig Levein."
