Terrors snap up Dillon

Dundee United have completed the deal to land Sean Dillon from Eircom League champions Shelbourne for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old full-back has agreed a two-and-a-half contract with the resurgent SPL side to the delight of Terrors boss Craig Levein. "I'm delighted to have signed Sean. He is a natural right-back and that is the position I wish him to play, but he also provides cover for both full-back positions having played left-back for almost two seasons," he said. "In fact, he is comfortable in any position across the back four and this is an added bonus if we ever need cover in these positions. "This is another good signing for the club. He's at the right age to develop, with his best years ahead of him and I'm sure that SPL football will allow him to keep on improving."
