Smith earns Terrors chance

Dundee United boss Craig Brewster has offered a short-term deal to the former Swindon Town midfielder Grant Smith.
The 26-year-old scored three goals in 15 appearances for Walsall in the second half of last season but was released by the Saddlers following their relegation to League Two.
"Grant has impressed me in his short trial period and this provides him with a longer opportunity to impress further and secure a longer-term deal," Brewster told the Terrors' official website.
"He's a strong, experienced player with a reputation for scoring goals from midfield.
"Subject to clearance, he will turn out for the reserves this week and, all going well, will be included in the squad for Sunday's game against Hearts."
