Dundee United striker Jon Daly faces around six months on the sidelines after a scan showed serious damage to his knee. The 24-year-old former Hartlepool United forward was injured in the 1-1 draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle last weekend and subsequent tests showed a torn posterior ligament. Terrors boss Craig Levein told the Dundee Evening Telegraph: "This is a massive blow for us and he'll be out for something like four to six months. "I really feel for the boy because he's been doing really well for us in recent weeks and has shown a tremendous work-rate and a desire to do well."
