Sandaza claims interest from Spain

The 24-year-old, who joined United from Valencia last summer on a three-year contract, claims his good form this season has turned a few heads, but he has no intention of quitting the SPL. Sandaza insists he owes manager Craig Levein for rescuing him from reserve-team football at a time when he was making plans to quit the game and become a policeman. "Clubs in Spain want me now but they will have to wait," said Sandaza, who is United's top scorer this season with 10 goals. "I don't want to think too much about my future. It's bad for concentration. "But I have noticed there is much more interest in me back home now. A lot of journalists call me up and tell me how well I'm doing in Scotland." He added: "I'm only thinking about Dundee United now. They gave me an opportunity to play an I'm very grateful to the gaffer for that. He gave me the chance to be a footballer again."
