    Samuel exits Terrors

    26 Jun 2007 - 16:43:05

Striker Collin Samuel has completed his move from Dundee United to MLS side Toronto FC.

The Trinidad & Tobago international has agreed a three-year deal with the Canadian club and has moved on a free transfer after his Tannadice deal expired.

The 25-year-old scored 14 SPL goals in three seasons with the Terrors.

"We're excited to have him on board," said Toronto coach Mo Johnston.

"I tried signing him two years ago when I was in New York. He's strong, he's fast, he can play left side, he can play right-hand side and he can play through the middle.

"He's a great addition to our team, having (Danny) Dichio and (Jeff) Cunningham already."
