Robertson appeal fails

Dundee United midfielder David Robertson has lost his appeal against the red card he was handed in the 4-0 victory at Hearts.

He was dismissed in the closing stages of the Tynecastle encounter after tussling with Hearts' Ibrahim Tall, who was also dismissed.

The SFA's decision has upset Terrors boss Craig Levein, who said: "It's disappointing because David definitely didn't show any semblance of violent conduct.

"I watched it over and over again on video and it's obviously a massive blow to lose him.

"David now misses the Celtic and Aberdeen games while Christian (Kalvenes) and Noel (Hunt) are already suspended for this weekend."
