Dundee United are set to offer a new contract to striker Jim McIntyre, after he impressed on his return to the side after injury.
The 31-year-old has netted twice in four games since coming back into the reckoning, to take his season's tally to seven for the Terrors.
As a result, boss Ian McCall told The Courier: "We will be talking about another contract for Jim soon.
"He has been excellent for us, so consistent and he deserves a reward."
McIntyre moved to Tannadice Park in the summer of 2001 from Reading, having previously enjoyed spells with Airdrie and Kilmarnock.
