Dundee United manager Ian McCall admits that he is baffled in his bid to find out exactly what makes Terrors midfielder Charlie Miller tick.
The 27-year-old came on to inspire United to a 3-2 win at home to Aberdeen at the weekend, but McCall is still struggling to understand the former Rangers star.
He told the Evening Times: "I've met all sorts of people in my career in football, but I have to say that Charlie Miller is the guy who baffles me most.
"He is an absolute gem of a boy and everyone here loves him to bits, but he has got to produce more and do it more frequently.
"He has all the talent in the world, but just doesn't turn it on often enough - if he did he would be playing for a bigger club, much bigger than Dundee United."
