Levein warns Robertson

Dundee United head coach Craig Levein had no complaints about Jordan Robertson's sending-off during the 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Tannadice.

The on-loan Sheffield United forward was red-carded four minutes from time after a clash with visiting keeper Alan Combe, with Levein backing the decision of referee David Somers.

He told The Courier: "I saw the incident, and Jordan lifted his hands and pushed the player, so I can't argue with that. I think it's soft, but that's just the way it is.

"He's just a young boy and it was silly because we were 1-0 up and had a penalty with five minutes to go.

"I don't think the referee saw the incident, as it was his assistant who waved his flag and brought it to his attention.

"Jordan has to realise that when a football team is doing well and you go out of the side through your own doing, you have no right to knock on my door to ask why you are not playing."
