Levein rules out Hunt exit

Dundee United manager Craig Levein insists he has received no bids for striker Noel Hunt.

The 25-year-old former Dunfermline star has been linked with a Tannadice exit this summer, but Levein is keen to keep his current squad together.

The ex-Hearts and Leicester City manager told United's official website: "If such an offer was received it would be rejected for two reasons.

"Firstly, the reported figure of £400,000 is nowhere near my valuation of a player who scored 18 league and cup goals last season.

"Secondly, Noel Hunt is not only a valuable player but also someone I do not want to lose."
